From ed006411e390ff4ef3c625b191cc6e707dafdce4 Mon Sep 17 00:00:00 2001 From: Konstantin Akimov Date: Sun, 18 Oct 2026 12:54:12 +0700 Subject: [PATCH] build: revert passing sanitizer flags to libsecp256k1 It is part of bitcoin#28875, backported in #7503. Since that merge every sanitizer job compiles libsecp256k1 with -fsanitize, so the TSan job instruments all of secp256k1's ECDSA code. It reverts _only_ libsecp256k1 sanitizer, other C code in the repo is still profiled. The UBSan suppression lines that came with the backport are kept: they are harmless without the instrumentation. --- configure.ac | 3 --- 1 file changed, 3 deletions(-) diff --git a/configure.ac b/configure.ac index d36c49ebfdf6..97cef0cc972a 100644 --- a/configure.ac +++ b/configure.ac @@ -2062,9 +2062,6 @@ CPPFLAGS_TEMP="$CPPFLAGS" unset CPPFLAGS CPPFLAGS="$CPPFLAGS_TEMP" -if test -n "$use_sanitizers"; then - export SECP_CFLAGS="$SECP_CFLAGS $SANITIZER_CFLAGS" -fi dnl The ECDH module is required by the wallet's Platform key provider dnl (DashPay contact request encryption, wallet/platformkeys.cpp). ac_configure_args="${ac_configure_args} --disable-shared --with-pic --enable-benchmark=no --enable-module-recovery --enable-module-ecdh --disable-openssl-tests"
