Incompatibility with some CPUs

Thanks for this package. However, I was not able to run this on some older server hardware. Not sure if this package uses some new instructions only available on newer cpus.

I think oxc might be the culprit, as it would not compile on older gcc versions i.e gcc 2.3 and lower

Which architectures / hardware would you like to see supported? CPU model + OS would be helpful.
