Self hosting the bash script should be relatively easy and and most importantly, SAFE. because the site would be open-source, and more importantly, under your complete control.

For domain name, you could ask the owner of getmic.ro to donate his domain, he should agree if he's a good samartian (which he is because why else do this ? ) and after donation, you can set up a record to redirect to your .io domain. allowing you to keep the quick catchy domain name, minus all the risk.
