What parts of Modrinth is your feature request related too?
Modrinth Hosting
Is your suggested feature related to a problem? Please describe.
Currently, the Browse Content feature on Modrinth-hosted servers only allows installing plugins.
However, server software such as PaperMC also supports datapacks, and datapacks are commonly used to add or modify gameplay features without requiring a plugin.
At the moment, installing a datapack requires manually downloading it and uploading it to the correct world folder, which makes the process less convenient than managing plugins through Browse Content.
Describe the solution you'd like
Allow datapacks to be browsed, installed, updated, and removed directly through the Browse Content feature, similar to plugins.
For compatible server types such as PaperMC, datapacks could automatically be installed into the appropriate datapacks directory for the selected world.
Ideally, Browse Content would include a content-type filter such as:
Plugins
Datapacks
This would make datapack management much easier and more consistent with the existing plugin installation experience.
Describe alternatives you've considered
Currently, the alternative is to manually download datapacks from Modrinth and upload them to the server's world/datapacks directory using the file manager.
This works, but requires additional manual steps and also makes updating installed datapacks more cumbersome.
Additional context
Datapacks are already supported by Modrinth and by Minecraft servers such as PaperMC, so this would mainly extend the existing Browse Content workflow to another natively supported content type.
It would be especially useful for server owners who want lightweight gameplay additions without installing additional plugins.
