Add single-query search functionality #11

Description

@4ment

Description

Implement a search functionality that uses the optimised entity-linkage model to search for records matching a single query.

Given a query record, the model should identify and return the most likely matching records from the reference dataset.

Requirements

  • Accept a single query record as input.
  • Use the optimised model to generate candidate matches and scores.
  • Return the matching records ranked by their model score.
  • Include the relevant comparison information for each match.
  • Allow the matching threshold to be specified.
  • Support efficient searches without requiring the full dataset to be loaded for each query.

Example

Given a query record:

first_name: John
lastname: Smith
email: john.smith@example.com

the search should use the fitted model to identify the most likely matching records and return their scores and comparison levels.

Outcome

Provide a simple way to perform entity resolution on an individual record using the fitted/optimised model.
