Implementation of choosing groups and organizations to showcase in home page

The current section showcasing groups and organizations on the home page is not clear. This should be removed until a clear purpose of this space is found. I have seen other projects showcasing featured groups in this space.

Instead of removing them, this can be linked to creating functionality to select which groups and organizations to feature.
