Multi-targets Autodesk.Forge.Core and Autodesk.Forge.Core.E2eTestHelpers to net8.0;net10.0, so each package ships a native .NET 10 asset next to the existing .NET 8 asset. Not a breaking change for existing consumers.

.NET 8 leaves support on 10 November 2026. .NET 10 is LTS until 14 November 2028. net9.0 is skipped because it leaves support on the same day as .NET 8.

The APS SDK for .NET depends on this package and is adding net10.0 in autodesk-platform-services/aps-sdk-net#260.

Changes

  • Directory.Build.props: <TargetFrameworks>net8.0;net10.0</TargetFrameworks>.
  • .github/workflows/dotnet-core.yml: setup-dotnet installs 8.0.x and 10.0.x.
  • README.md: the .NET badge and the requirements line state .NET 8 and .NET 10.

No dependency version changes.

Verification

  • dotnet build: 0 errors.
  • dotnet test: 38 of 38 pass on net8.0 and on net10.0.
  • Both packages contain lib/net8.0/ and lib/net10.0/.

Notes for maintainers

  • <Version> is not changed (still 4.1.2). Suggested release: 4.2.0.
  • The NUGETAPIKEYBYENGOPS secret needs a new key. The 20 July 2026 publish run failed with 403, so 4.1.2 is not on nuget.org. That run reported success, because src/Directory.Build.targets ignores the dotnet nuget push exit code.
