fix(voteparty): wait for published shared MySQL cache before rewards - #1749
VotePartyRewardHandler forced UserDataFetchMode.NO_CACHE on recipients. On shared MySQL, reward placeholders such as Total_AllTime are resolved on a platform-owned thread, where AdvancedCore correctly refuses uncached database reads.
Fix
Use DEFAULT cache-backed fetch mode for shared-MySQL recipients while preserving NO_CACHE for file/SQLite.
Never inspect published user-cache snapshots on Bukkit/Folia-owned threads. Capture shared-MySQL eligibility on AdvancedCore's ordered storage worker, even when a cache is already published; populate missing snapshots there.
Queue VoteParty's per-user counter reset behind the previously submitted eligibility reads on the same storage executor. This prevents the async recipient check from reading already-reset vote counters. Clear the party's recipient list immediately, so a delayed reset cannot erase voters for the next party.
Preserve FirstVotePartyToday at dispatch and use the pre-reset eligibility result for reward delivery.
Deliver reward effects on the Bukkit/Folia scheduler, targeting the entity's owner when available, including votes originating from a storage worker.
Log failures without issuing rewards against absent user data. Leave AdvancedCore's main-thread SQL guard intact.
Regression coverage
Includes 16 shared-MySQL reward tests in VotePartySharedMysqlRewardTest plus 2 new VoteParty reset-ordering tests in VotePartyTest. Coverage includes:
Unpublished cache population, published cache worker admission, invalidation during worker checks, database failure, and rejected scheduling
Deferred and inline callbacks with and without a captured player owner, global/entity scheduling, and worker-originated vote callbacks
Reset deferred behind reward-read admissions on platform threads, while retaining immediate legacy reset behavior
Validation and scope
Four files changed; no new dependencies, config changes, schema changes, or public API changes.
Not tested locally: this environment has no Maven/dependency checkout. The latest GitHub Actions Maven package run is the build validation target. This PR is open for review but should not merge until head CI and concurrency review pass.
Failure boundary: This removes the reproducible missing-cache exception for the VoteParty path. It does not add durable cross-restart reward retry or transactional exactly-once semantics for commands; failed storage reads are logged without granting rewards.
This intentionally improves on the issue's sample patch: cacheUserIfNeeded can return early for a mapped but unpublished cache placeholder.
Summary by CodeRabbit
Bug Fixes
Improved vote-party reward delivery for players using shared SQL storage. Rewards now wait for player data to load when needed, while eligible players with available data can receive them immediately.
Vote requirements are checked before vote counters reset, helping ensure rewards go to eligible players.
Improved handling of missing player data and reward-loading failures, and ensured rewards for online players are dispatched appropriately.
VoteParty reward delivery now resolves users according to storage mode. For shared SQL, the handler checks for a published user-data snapshot and loads user data before dispatching rewards when needed. Tests cover storage modes, loading outcomes, and scheduler ownership.

The handler reuses a matching triggering user or resolves by player or UUID. It uses DEFAULT fetch mode with shared SQL and routes online, stored-user, and voted-user rewards through the shared delivery path. Tests cover fetch modes and already-published snapshots.
Shared-cache loading and reward dispatch VotingPlugin/src/main/java/com/bencodez/votingplugin/specialrewards/voteparty/VotePartyRewardHandler.java, VotingPlugin/src/test/java/com/bencodez/votingplugin/tests/specialrewards/VotePartySharedMysqlRewardTest.java
When shared user data is not published, the handler attempts cache population and defers delivery when supported. It checks vote eligibility before counter resets, logs load failures or missing snapshots, and schedules reward effects. Tests cover deferred loading, missing snapshots, failures, worker rejection, and scheduler ownership.
Reward delivery still risks blocking a platform thread during a shared-cache check. The PR is mergeable with owner awareness of this unresolved threading concern.

Add cases where deferSharedStorageResult returns false, with and without a callback owner. Check scheduler selection and reward delivery. Also check that a true load result followed by a missing published cache does not deliver a reward.
The current tests cannot detect broken inline scheduling.

The imports are not alphabetically ordered, but no applicable rule or operational consequence supports a change. The comment does not identify an unused import.
The population exception is routed to failure, not success. The available evidence does not establish whether the primary-thread fallback can reach a blocking read, or whether the bound scheduler can throw on this path. The exact snapshot contracts remain unavailable.
