Performance Testing

The optimization was tested in Rust using the same resolution and graphics settings before and after applying the recommended performance tweaks.

Benchmark Results

Metric Before After
Average FPS 78 FPS 112 FPS
1% Low FPS 51 FPS 74 FPS
Frametime 12.8 ms 8.9 ms
RAM Usage 9.4 GB 8.1 GB

Test Configuration

  • Operating System: Windows 11 64-bit
  • Resolution: 1920×1080
  • Graphics Preset: Medium
  • V-Sync: Disabled
  • Background Applications: Minimal
  • Test Scenario: Same Rust gameplay environment

Results

🚀 +43% Average FPS

⚡ +45% 1% Low FPS

📉 Lower average frametime

💾 Reduced background RAM usage

Recommended Rust Setup

For a consistent benchmark:

  • Use the same resolution.
  • Keep the same Rust graphics settings.
  • Close downloads and unnecessary launchers.
  • Disable software you are not using for recording or streaming.
  • Repeat the test several times.
  • Compare average FPS and 1% lows, not only the highest number shown on screen.
