I decided to give this a quick go and wanted to note some UI/UX issues.
OpenAI -- Let's add the URL as configurable. I'm using MTPLX on a Mac and it supports ollama or openai as a compatible API. So if I want to use OpenAI structured APIs (I do) ... then I want to be able to point to the mac computer's IP Address on the network. Workaround: override ENV injected in, because ... spring.
This is actually much more important; when I want to edit a single setting under the site ... I click Settings and get bounced back to the onboarding flow. That's kind of annoying to have to click-through and re-save settings rather than end up on a grouped Settings layout.
Proposed:
Settings
Agents
Scheduler
LLM Provider(s)
MCP Servers
etc. (but always Alphabetically sorted rather than some arbitrary sort).
Each with a route like /settings/llm/{providerId}/edit or otherwise.
I just wanted to actually say, thanks for assembling this -- I've done a few passes at building a system like this and this looks like a better starting point for what could grow into a really nice and useful app.
Configurable base URL is already handled — a #89 PR for it merges this week, so you won't need the env override much longer.
The settings flow is one of our top priorities and we're starting on it soon. We're planning to build it with Vaadin, so you can jump straight to one section and edit it without walking through onboarding again.
And thanks for the kind words — really glad it's been useful.
