Codex and WorkBuddy trial users currently have to build and package the plugins themselves. Add host-specific macOS installers that download verified prebuilt packages, prepare private Node and configure the host, plus an installation Skill and shorter user instructions.
Keep old packages and unrelated configuration, reject duplicate Codex plugin sources, and include the WorkBuddy configuration installer in its tarball. Release assets now include versioned installers and checksums. Publish public testing prereleases while retaining the real-device evidence gate for stable WorkBuddy publication.
Validation: Codex 63 tests and package checks; WorkBuddy 121 tests, packaged online/offline MCP smoke; native Codex CLI first/repeat installation in an isolated profile; WorkBuddy cold installation without system Node; installer regression checks and stable-versus-prerelease publishing checks. Desktop, real-phone and two-device acceptance remain incomplete, so this delivery is a testing prerelease only.
