C1: Source-of-truth adjudication — verified-facts record for opencode v2.0.23 #24

Closed

Description

@diegohb

ParentPart of #23 (Spec: opencode-architect 1.0.0)## What to buildA verified-facts record that becomes the single authority for every opencode v2 API fact our guidance asserts. Pin anomalyco/opencode at tag v2.0.23 and record the commit hash and snapshot date. For each contradiction and each surface the suite teaches, adjudicate by the source-of-truth ladder: pinned source > official v2 docs > DeepWiki. Inputs include the live v1→v2 migration guide, whose assertions are validated against source before our guidance may repeat them.Surfaces to settle, at minimum: the plugin-authoring package name and its subpath exports (Effect and Promise variants); plugin definition shape, lifecycle, and storage; the agent domain transform; permission semantics, action vocabulary, and the fate of external-directory permissions; config schema keys (registration array, permissions, agents, commands, MCP servers, skills) and each v1→v2 mapping; tool registration, argument schema style, and result shape; discovery directories for extensions; install/distribution mechanics (npm vs local vs file-based registration, cache locations, loading order, precedence); the hook-family map from every v1 hook we teach to its v2 replacement; the TUI, RPC, and Effect surfaces we will recommend; and command/skill/agent frontmatter field changes.Each recorded fact cites its source and locator. Facts the source cannot settle are explicitly marked for empirical confirmation by the verification harness.## Acceptance criteria- [x] Record exists, pinned to v2.0.23 with commit hash and snapshot date- [x] Every contradiction surfaced in research has an explicit resolution or an explicit open flag- [x] Every v1 hook/config fact our current guidance asserts has a v2 replacement or removal recorded- [x] Facts needing empirical confirmation are listed as inputs for the verification harness ticket- [x] No unverified claim is stated as settled## Blocked by- None (can start immediately)

    All acceptance criteria verified against the record on branch issue-24-disco-mongoose (commits 9f738fd, fbbaed8):

    1. Record exists, pinned: docs/reference/opencode-v2-facts.md — v2.0.23, commit 0fd7e2829449b052abf0078666669302923d77af, snapshot 2026-10-05 (tag→commit→date independently confirmed in the pinned tree).
    2. Contradictions: §13 rows 1–8, each with an explicit resolution (row 8 open-flagged as glossary doc debt).
    3. v1 hook/config coverage: §9 hook-family map (every hook taught in references/plugins.md, cross-validated against source symbols); §5 config keys incl. all legacy keys (plugin→plugins, agent/command/mode, permission/tools→Ruleset, small_model→agents.title.model, enabled/disabled_providers→provider.use rules, well-known reshaped, /etc removed, keybinds/theme/tui hedged); §6 agent frontmatter; §12 command/skill frontmatter (incl. skill field fates: name defaults to id, license/compatibility/metadata dropped); §4 permission action vocabulary incl. dead v1 keys.
    4. Empirical inputs for the harness: §14 items 1–8.
    5. No unverified claim stated as settled: open/hedged flags carried through; ~25 citation spot-checks against the pinned source passed (one locator corrected in 9f738fd).

    Two-axis review (standards/spec) findings all resolved before marking done.
