Local-first tools for real frictions: at the desk, in the editor, on the handheld.
Your files and your activity stay on your machine. When a tool doesn't know something, it tells you, instead of filling the gap with a zero.
Note
October 2026: Coverly ROMs ships its first release · MaeclyPrint is now Pluryprint · Versorium, Image Transform Lite and Creatix join the family.
Every product here started as a friction I hit myself: writing standups by hand, printing 300 files 15 at a time, ROMs with no cover art, losing a novel draft. None of them hands that friction to someone else's server.
|

The product repositories are private while they're being built, and there's nothing to download yet.
- 🎨 OpenDesign · pre-beta: a local-first, bring-your-own-key design tool that will be open source. AI design generation runs on your own models, and every artifact stays on disk. opendesign.maecly.com
- 🎞️ WorklyReel · phase 0 proof of concept: turns a day or a week of Git and GitHub activity into a ready-to-post proof-of-work card, with every claim linked back to its evidence. workly-reel.maecly.com · landing page source
- 🎧 Aurenly · paused: sends the audio of one Chrome tab to the devices you listen on, leaving the rest of your Mac's sound where it is.
What I aim for in every product, and where you can see it.
- 🔒 Zero telemetry, no account. No analytics anywhere. The only request an app makes on its own is an update check you can turn off. Anything else goes only to a provider or source you choose.
- 🧪 Honesty you can see. In autostand, a missing value reads No data, never
0%, and a failed source is shown as a failure, not as a quiet day. - 📚 Docs first, with ADRs. Pluryprint and Coverly ROMs keep their architecture decision records in
docs/adrnext to the code. - 🎨 Design systems are versioned dependencies. autostand-ui keeps autostand's tokens, base components and icons in their own repository, documented in Storybook.
- ✅ One local gate. Pluryprint, Coverly ROMs and autostand run
make check, Versorium runsmake verify: one command with the same steps CI runs, so a local failure reads like a remote one.
The stack
Roughly half Rust, half TypeScript: desktop apps with web UIs, not websites. Also Tailwind, Storybook, WXT (Manifest V3), llama.cpp for local models, Vitest and Playwright.
Issues, translations, tests and fixes are welcome on the open-source products (everything above except ID Bridge IA, which is source-visible but proprietary, and Creatix, whose source is coming soon). Read the repository's CONTRIBUTING.md and SECURITY.md where present. Report security issues privately, never in a public issue.
