Release 2.5.0 adds firmware 2.3.x support while retaining older firmware, including 2.2.9.

All 47 integrated library tests pass and analysis is clean. The merged tree matches the integration pinned by app 1.6.0. App/device compatibility tests against firmware 2.3.0 and 2.2.9 are in progress. Older audio feature PRs #148/#150 are excluded.

Before package publication, publish the protocol package 0.0.4 and remove the temporary Git overrides used for review. No package publication is performed by this PR merge.

Live Android Recorder repeat passes: firmware 2.3.0 delivers 99.67 Hz IMU and 512.27 Hz PPG in separate 30-second windows, with finite values, valid PPG range, no backward timestamps and zero app parsing exceptions. A connected legacy-firmware earphone remains correct. Full 2.2.9 and paired 2.3.0 release testing continues.
