What

Re-pins microcosm's NZ Chronicle feed to Chronicle main 8f4cfd57, which includes chronicle#382 (G8-d3). That adds Stats NZ Quarterly Employment Survey average weekly earnings and Treasury PREFU 2026 earnings growth, the evidence G8-r2 uses to declare and verify the ageing factors under Max's d1599.

Field Was (acbedb5f) Now (8f4cfd57)

consumer_fact_schema_sha256 d953306d… unchanged

Other changes:

  • reference_inventory.json is regenerated with tools/generate_nz_target_references.py; --check is in sync. Only its feed_identity block moves, and no target or pre-calibration reference changes, because nothing selects the new rows yet.
  • The golden moves only the chronicle_feed.json and reference_inventory.json resource hashes and the fingerprint.
  • test_generation_reproduces_committed_resources_with_exact_feed_identity now takes its expected row count from the committed pin instead of the literal 12335.

How the artifact was built

  • The hub ran nz_suite_build.sh from a clean detached Chronicle worktree at 8f4cfd57 (dirty=0): build-bundle --suite nz (150 s), then build-consumer-artifact (14 s). It read 70 source packages, skipped none, and produced 12,368 facts.
  • Row diff against the acbedb5f artifact, keyed by aggregate_fact_key:
    • 33 rows added, 0 removed, 0 changed;
    • 26 are QES quarterly levels (13 quarters, 2023-Q2 to 2026-Q2, × SBSZ9A and SBSZ9Z);
    • 7 are PREFU Table 4.1 row 17, fiscal years 2024–2030 (opening-year labels for years ending June 2025–2031).
  • Build record: ~/reviews/nz-hub/jobs/nz-suite-build-8f4cfd57/summary.txt.

Tests

One file per run, worktree code, NZ_CHRONICLE_ARTIFACT at the new artifact:

File Result
test_ledger_artifact.py 40 passed
test_country_spec.py 136 passed
test_nz_spec_package.py 1192 passed
test_spec_engine_country_bundles.py 21 passed
test_transport_target_kernels.py 15 passed
test_nz_target_references.py 35 passed
test_spec_only_country_packages.py 8 passed

Controls at the old acbedb5f artifact:

  • test_real_nz_artifact_matches_committed_feed_pin fails;
  • the generation test's fixture refuses the artifact (error).

ruff and git diff --check pass.

Invariants

  • The pin's identity fields equal the artifact built from the declared source commit.
  • The existing 12,335 rows are byte-identical between the two artifacts.
  • Generated references are reproducible from the pinned artifact, and only the feed identity moves.
  • The golden moves only the stated hashes and the fingerprint.

Inactive NZ package; no published number. Needs Max: no.

🤖 Generated with Claude Code

Chronicle 8f4cfd57 includes chronicle#382: Stats NZ QES average weekly
earnings levels (SBSZ9A, SBSZ9Z; June 2023 to June 2026) and Treasury PREFU
2026 ordinary-time earnings growth, the evidence for G8-r2's ageing factors.
The artifact gains 33 rows; the existing 12,335 are unchanged and the schema
digest stays d953306d. The generated reference_inventory.json moves only its
feed identity, and no target reference changes. The golden moves only the
feed and inventory resource hashes and the fingerprint. The generation test
now reads the expected row count from the committed pin, not a literal.

Merge audit (NZ hub): head 6458ac5. Independent review: GPT-6.1 Sol (Subfleet 20261023-092927), VERDICT APPROVE at this head. CI: run 39961606384 had five jobs cancelled mid-run (not failures); they were re-run with gh run rerun --failed and all passed. gh pr checks exits 0. The reviewer's "Needs Max" flag is the changelog line; it describes an input-data change verified by the review, not a published estimate (same position as #1361). Merging with a merge commit.
