Found in #297:
config/wordpress.phpdeclareduse_default_wp_theme_directory, read nowhere (framework, skeleton, docs: no other reference). Setting it changed nothing. Removed with a CHANGELOG entry; a project that published the config keeps an inert key, harmlessly.
