PyCoach is made for the moment when a beginner knows something is wrong but does not yet know what question to ask. It connects related mistakes, explains the Python rule, and keeps every automatic edit reviewable.
Try it in under a minute: download the bundle, extract it, run
START-PYCOACH.cmd, and install the included VS Code extension.
Most linters stop at “there is an error.” PyCoach continues:
- What happened? Finds the error and its likely root cause.
- Why did it happen? Explains the Python rule in beginner-friendly language.
- What should I try? Reveals progressive hints instead of dumping the answer.
- Can it be fixed safely? Shows a complete preview before changing code.
- Did it work? Saves and analyzes the file again.
