The reference documentation of this project is now published on www.qtsurfer.com, under /reference/sdk-python/latest/. This changes the GitHub Pages site of this repository so that it only redirects there.

  • Every page of the old site, index.html and any other path, goes to the same page of the new one, keeping the path, the query and the fragment. The links already published in package metadata, READMEs and release notes keep working. Without JavaScript the page links to the new location.
  • The pages to serve are in pages-redirect/, and a new workflow, pages-redirect.yml, deploys them when they change and on demand.
  • The release no longer builds the documentation for Pages, so a release does not put the old site back. The archive of the documentation attached to each release (reference-docs) is unchanged: it is what the website publishes.

The deployment runs by itself when this is merged. After it, https://qtsurfer.github.io/sdk-python/ and any page below it should land on the matching page of https://www.qtsurfer.com/reference/sdk-python/latest/.
