Material staleness
Merged Root Sequence PR #47 explicitly approved the October 19, 2026 (UTC) website source, including Coherent Computing's broader public description. The approved passage connects operating-system design with people's needs, understanding/control, changing circumstances, and devices aging; it retains research/design and no-public-release limits.
Sources: approved source at the merge commit, exact-source approval, and public copy/decision record.
No private repository was read for this proposal. This projects an explicit public publication decision, not a new project charter, implementation claim, or relationship.
Review question: the current Root Sequence ECOSYSTEM.md still uses OS-only wording. The approved website intentionally broadens the public introduction, but does not itself rewrite the project's charter. This proposal preserves the canonical-map pointer and existing typed relationships; reconcile that older map in its owning project rather than treating this projection as authority over project substance.
Root Sequence's own START-HERE.md and PROJECT-CONTEXT.md updates are already covered by open draft #46; organization profile wording remains separately covered by .github#10. No duplicate context/profile PR is created.
Proposed edit
PROJECTS.md currently omits Coherent Computing. Add one row with the approved public role, no-public-release limit, existing private canonical-home identity, and the approved public website route. Add a short provenance note linking to the public approval and pinned source. No link to private contents is introduced.
PROJECT_CONTEXTS.md stays unchanged: the project remains private, and the existing private-context policy already applies. Existing Existential Euphoria draft #12 remains separate; this proposal does not replace or duplicate it.
An unrelated ambiguity is deliberately left unchanged: the No One Noticed row says “public site,” while the newly approved website only says that no public site is linked there. Those statements do not establish that no site exists, so this proposal does not guess at availability.
Verification
The branch starts from current main. The existing file was checked against that base before writing, then fetched again and compared exactly with the intended content. The public introduction anchor exists in the approved HTML; the table has the same three-column structure. No private sources, new typed relationships, canon decisions, runtime changes, or deployment. Keep this PR in draft.
