🧹 [Extract environment variable accessors] - #258
Conversation
Extracted the inline closures for the environment variable accessors (get, set, all, args, and current_dir) into standalone functions (env_get, env_set, etc.). This simplifies the StdlibRegistry setup map and improves the maintainability and testability of the environment capabilities. 🎯 What: Extracted environment accessors in
stdlib/src/env.rsto standalone functions.💡 Why: Simplifies the setup map and makes unit testing the environment capability separately much easier.
✅ Verification: Verified by running tests in
run_in_bash_session(cargo test --workspace --all-targets). Our scoped modifications tostdlib/src/env.rsdo not introduce any new failures.✨ Result: Improved maintainability and modularity of the
std.envstandard library registration.PR created automatically by Jules for task 1017955217571775523 started by @Tcode-Motion
