Remove the simulated route tool and its route map, including navigation, source, types and exports. Only measured network results belong in diagnostics.
Place every tool run control beside its input/settings panel.
Replace the dashboard readiness score/audit/interface panels with a tool card grid. Cards provide relevant IP/hostname/URL/CIDR/MAC/spot inputs and run buttons that navigate to the tool and start with those values.
Keep recent diagnostic history stored in this browser on the dashboard.
Implementation and review scope
Current local work implements the above. Legacy route data remains stored, while being excluded from history displays and exports. Existing authorization prompts remain part of launching a probe; opening a tool without submitting does not run it.
The parallel code review also reproduced and fixed unmeasured GeoIP coordinates/security flags, zero WebSocket failure timings and unrelated-message RTTs, a bufferbloat A+ without actual download load, overclaimed QUIC fallback, invalid scanner IPv4 normalization and untested-port zero timings.
Validation includes typecheck/lint/unit tests and browser regressions for launch inputs, duplicate runs, history preservation, nearby controls, missing GeoIP values and offline measurements. Keep this issue open until the implementation is merged.
Implementation is available in draft PR #20: #20 . Local typecheck/lint, all 356 unit tests, production build and browser regressions pass. This remains open until the implementation is merged.
