I'm a software engineer in training at CodeYourFuture, transitioning into tech after a background in Economics and financial auditing, including completing CFA Level II.

I enjoy solving problems and understanding how systems work. I'm currently focused on full-stack JavaScript and TypeScript development, building reliable applications, writing meaningful tests, and improving my understanding of how frontend, backend, databases, and deployment fit together.

A full-stack platform designed to connect mentors and mentees and support the mentorship journey from profile creation through matching and active mentorship.

• Full-Stack Development: Built features across React, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, NestJS, PostgreSQL and Prisma, including authenticated role-based profiles, dashboards and mentorship lifecycle management.

• Data & API Architecture: Implemented Prisma many-to-many relationships, transactional profile updates, DTO validation and strongly typed communication between the frontend and backend.

• Frontend & UX: Developed reusable, responsive components and a Tailwind CSS design system with mobile layouts, light/dark themes and accessible interaction states for mentors, mentees and staff.

A collaborative tool for calculating complex recurring calendar dates and generating standardised schedule configurations.

• Core Logic: Developed a date-calculation engine for recurring patterns such as "Second Tuesday of October", including leap years and shifting month boundaries.

• Testing & Architecture: Built shared date logic used by both the frontend and an automated iCal generator, backed by unit tests using Node:Test.

• Accessibility: Achieved a 100% Lighthouse Accessibility score using semantic HTML, ARIA attributes and keyboard-accessible controls.

A collaborative, responsive data explorer built with a teammate to retrieve and display television data from a third-party API.

• Performance: Reduced unnecessary network requests by implementing client-side caching for API data.

• UX & State: Built synchronised search and filtering state to make navigating large television datasets responsive and intuitive.

An individual data-analysis project that transforms raw listening data into useful user-facing metrics.
