Summary

The plugin already runs on Homebridge 2 and current Node.js LTS releases, but its package.json doesn't declare support for them.

  • engines: homebridge: ^1.6.0 || ^2.0.0, node: ^18.20.4 || ^20.18.0 || ^22.10.0 || ^24.0.0 || ^26.0.0
  • platform.ts: fill defaults (from config.schema.json) for pruning, whiteEffects, deviceManagement and advancedOptions when they are missing. A minimal config without these sections crashed with TypeError: Cannot read properties of undefined (reading 'blacklistedUniqueIDs').
  • Version bumped to 1.9.12.

Testing

Tested on Homebridge 2.4.0 (HAP-NodeJS 2.2.2) with Node 22, 24 and 26, using an emulated MagicHome controller (UDP discovery + TCP 5577). Discovery, On/Off, Hue and Brightness get/set all work. Builds and lints with the repo's existing toolchain.
