- generate_uuid fallback made a five-character group, so the id was not a UUID and every command printed 'AMP config mismatch'
- amp-init --name bob after alice said 'already initialized' as alice and never created bob; --force would have re-keyed alice
- amp-init made a second id for an agent AI Maestro already had, so mail landed in an inbox the server never watched and nothing woke it; it now uses the registry's id
- a third agent could not be created ('Multiple AMP agents found'); amp-init now creates identities when none resolves
- xxd is not on a clean machine; replaced by od
- 'Organization must be configured' now says what to do
- the folder lookup can no longer end a script under set -e / pipefail

Found by running the install as a reader would, on a bare Ubuntu container (two agents created with aimaestro-agent.sh, then amp-init, then amp-send).
amp-init --name bobafter alice: 'already initialized' as alice, bob never created; --force would have re-keyed alice under bob's name.8 new bats tests (tests/unit/clean_install_flow.bats), 6 fail on the old scripts. Full suite 329 pass. Verified end to end in the container: after the fix, a message from one agent appears in the other's terminal in about 1 second.
