I build backend systems in Go for IBM watsonx.data, an enterprise lakehouse.
I have spent 3+ years full-time at IBM on the platform side of watsonx.data: the services that provision, connect and secure the engines customers run analytics and GenAI workloads on. I am also an on-call SME for production issues at enterprise customers including Adobe, Scuderia Ferrari and EY.
Before IBM I interned at three startups, Katha Ads, Turnkey Tech Solutions and Incredible Visibility, and did an apprenticeship with the Kerala Police, building an internal machine learning application for the CBCID Special Branch.
- Multi-tenant platforms. Led the move from single-tenant to multi-tenant databases, cutting infrastructure cost by about 98%.
- A secure reverse tunnel in Go. Multi-tenant, with mTLS, Yamux multiplexing and Redis-backed registration.
- Bring Your Own Cloud on Azure. Extending the Console APIs across a split control plane and data plane.
- Vector search performance. Cut Milvus hybrid search response times by up to 80% for large GenAI lakehouse workloads.
- Durable workflows on Temporal. Provisioning flows with idempotent activities, retries and task-level status.
- Compliance. SOC 2, FIPS and FedRAMP readiness across 5+ core components as Developer Security Focal.
- Engine integrations. Native Apache Spark, Bring Your Own JAR for Presto, REST APIs across Presto, Spark, Db2, Netezza and Milvus, and a Go SDK with a published OpenAPI reference.
