+Open Theme Preview from the sidebar to inspect your palette on a sample bb interface. Switch between Thread, New thread, Split, and Settings views to check the sidebar, conversation, panels, and overlays.

+## Compare palettes and modes
+
+The theme picker includes bundled, plugin, and custom themes. Each row previews its own colors and typography. Selecting a row applies the theme and mode to bb itself, including other open windows.

+Below the preview, inspect typography, control samples, sidebar states, and resolved surface, text, accent, status, and border values. Text and status samples include contrast ratios against their backgrounds.

+## Iterate beside an agent

+Keep the preview beside a thread while an agent edits a theme. Saved theme changes refresh the preview and reapply the active palette. The bundled theme-authoring skill explains theme files and tokens.
