What was wrong

Marketplace installs stayed on File Pins 0.1.8 because newer builds had no version tags.

What changed

  • The existing publisher creates immutable File Pins version tags.
  • Tagged releases retain the root package layout required by existing marketplace installs.

How you verified

  • Remote CI passed, including root-package installation and immutable-tag checks.
  • The real Git installer selected the newer tag and loaded the root package.
  • Publisher checks verified repeated releases and rejected changed contents under an existing tag.

Every pin keeps its whole label in a single row that scrolls sideways at
every width. A vertical mouse wheel over the strip scrolls it, trackpad and
touch swipes stay native, keyboard focus scrolls the focused pin into view,
and edge fades appear only on sides with more pins. Each pin shows an
Unpin × on hover or focus; touch screens long-press for the pin menu.
The +N count, its menu, the measured overflow layout and unused overlay
components are removed.

On hover or keyboard focus the × now covers the pin's icon, as Safari's
tab bar does, so short labels stay readable and nothing shifts. The README
images show the desktop strip and a phone strip scrolled partway.

Focus now scrolls the pin's wrapper, which carries the fade margin, and
only for keyboard focus, so a click on a partly visible pin opens it
instead of scrolling it away. The long-press click guard clears when the
menu closes, so later assistive-technology clicks still open pins.

The catalog image still showed the old ⋯ button and a Remove item. It now
shows the current file menu, ending with Unpin, and the alt text matches.

The image still showed the old ⋯ after the last pin. It now shows the current
strip and the Pin pill with the files and link to pin.

Remove Refresh preview from pin menus, with its toast and RPC. When a hover
card opens on a preview the server is reloading behind it (older than an
hour), the card waits for that reload through the normal preview path and
updates in place, at most once per pin every five minutes. A failed reload
keeps the last preview quietly, and no request skips a cooldown or pause.
