OK. I thought my PR was incorrect, but in fact it is the check that assumes an pessimistic result. It computes a backward contraction on A*B = C where both A and B are matrices of intervals (and B has 2 columns). The intended result of the contraction (on B) is correct if each column of B is contracted independantly, without reporting constraints deduced on A from one column of B to another (something my PR does in a limited way, even if it does not return any contraction on A). |
