Summary

  • MCP tool calls go through callResult once. call unwraps that envelope, and callBlocks is gone.
  • Linear results are no longer stripped to a fixed field list. An error result still returns the tool text instead of throwing.
  • Global and local settings writers share one queue. Close and abort checks for MCP clients share one helper.

Verification

  • bun run check passes (9105 tests, 0 fail)
  • bun test ./src/mcp/add-server.test.ts ./src/mcp/plugin.test.ts ./src/mcp/client-envelope.test.ts ./src/mcp/client-auth-retry.test.ts ./src/tools/web-fetch.test.ts ./src/tools/web-search.test.ts --randomize --seed 424242 passes (68 tests)
