Adds a nightly run to starters.yml ("Starters"), so a main that goes red without a push (a runner image, a new Node patch release, a registry change, an expiring date in a fixture) shows up the next morning.

What changed

  • on: gains schedule with cron 53 5 * * * (05:53 UTC every day) and workflow_dispatch. The push and pull_request triggers stay as they were. The minute is off the hour because GitHub delays scheduled runs at the start of every hour.
  • No guards were needed. None of the three jobs (discover, test, All starters) reads github.event.pull_request.*, github.head_ref, github.base_ref, github.event.before or github.event_name, or diffs against a PR base: discover lists starters from git ls-files, test runs npm ci and npm test per starter, and All starters reads the two job results. A scheduled run tests the latest commit on main with the same jobs and the same check names.
  • What a pull-request run checks is unchanged.

Note: each starter installs from its committed package-lock.json (npm ci), so the nightly run tests the locked @cosyte/* versions, not the newest published ones. Moving a starter to a new library version stays a lockfile change in a pull request.

Add a schedule trigger (05:53 UTC every day) and workflow_dispatch to
starters.yml, keeping the push and pull_request triggers. No job reads
pull-request context, so discover, test and All starters run unchanged on
a scheduled or dispatched run.
