Something still looks wrong, it's validating against 2352112+anxolin@users.noreply.github.com rather than anxo@cow.fi, so it fails

That address is GitHub’s privacy-preserving commit email format:

2352112+anxolin@users.noreply.github.com

Here:

• 2352112 is your numeric GitHub user ID.
• anxolin is your GitHub username.
• users.noreply.github.com is GitHub’s domain for hiding your real email address in commits.
  

GitHub uses the ID+USERNAME format so commits can stay associated with your account even if you later change your username.

The trick is to set the user.email in git config to match the email you added. If you are ok adding anxo@cow.fi (from a privacy POV), please do!
