What changed
OpenAI subscriptions now connect with Codex device authorization, in onboarding and in Settings. Druks shows a short code and a link to OpenAI's device page, then checks until the operator approves. The failed localhost redirect and the pasted URL are gone. Anthropic keeps its code-paste flow.
OpenAiProvider.start_connectionrequests a device code and stores the attempt in Redis for 15 minutes, bound to the account that started it.POST /api/providers/{provider_id}/connection/checkasks OpenAI for the grant. It returnsnulluntil the operator approves. Then it exchanges the authorization code, stores the subscription, and returns the account. The page calls it at the interval that OpenAI gives.Before the operator connects, they enable device code authorization for Codex in ChatGPT (Settings → Security). The configuration guide says so.
