Issue being fixed or feature implemented

The Join DashPay and create-username redesign needs two components the library does not have,
and a few additive capabilities on ones it does. Consumed by
dashpay/dashwallet-ios feat/create-username-redesign.

What was done?

New components

  • Criteria — the validation-rule block. A mark box sets the row height (not the text), and
    each rule renders in one of four states: a pending ring, met, failed, blocking. Callers drop
    rules that are met, so the list shrinks as the input becomes valid.
  • SimpleSelect — the option rows a funding source is picked with.

AddressFieldView — all additive, existing call sites unaffected:

  • an optional isFocused binding, mirrored in both directions, so a host can raise the keyboard
    on entry and drop it before presenting a sheet while the field keeps owning its @FocusState;
  • showsClearButton: a short field the user can clear by hand does not need a ✕ to hit by
    accident;
  • isAccepted: once the content has been accepted the field stops asking for attention and
    drops its focus ring;
  • the 3pt focus/error ring from Figma, drawn as an inset stroke rather than a shadow — with no
    blur and no offset a shadow lands under the field and is never seen;
  • the QR button only when an onScanQR handler is supplied. A username has no QR form, and the
    glyph was drawing a control that did nothing. A field that can show neither control now
    reserves no trailing space.

SystemMessageView — a buttonStyle. A message that points somewhere else reads as a link
rather than a call to action, and is spaced against the sentence it follows instead of sitting
in a pill's padding.

BottomSheet — the header collapses when there is no title, no back button and no close
button: 64pt of nothing that a self-sizing sheet was measuring into its own height.

Tokens and assets — RedAlpha20, and six feature icons (friends, profile, recovery,
selected-list, username, username-block).

How Has This Been Tested?

swift build clean. Every component was exercised in the app on an iOS 26.5 simulator through
the create-username flow: the Criteria block under the username field in all four states, the
field's focus ring and its keyboard handover into the confirmation sheet, SimpleSelect on the
funding-privacy page, the collapsed sheet header on the entry sheet, and the link-styled
SystemMessageView in the contested-name disclosure. Previews were added for the new
configurations, including a field with no scan handler.

Breaking Changes

None. Every addition is a defaulted parameter or a new type; existing callers compile unchanged.

Summary by CodeRabbit

  • New Features
    • Added selectable option cards and requirement checklists with pending, in-progress, success, error, blocking, and warning states.
    • Address fields now support host-controlled focus, accepted states, and configurable clear buttons. QR and clear controls appear only when available.
    • System messages support configurable button styles.
    • Added new colors and icons.
  • Updates
    • Bottom sheets omit the header when the title, back button, and close button are all hidden.
  • Documentation
    • Updated component descriptions and added guidance for the new checklist and address field options.

… work behind them

Two new components, from the Join DashPay and create-username designs:

- `Criteria` — the validation-rule block: a mark box that sets the row height,
  four states (pending ring, met, failed, blocking), and the icons the design
  system draws for each. Rules that are met are dropped by the caller, so the
  list shrinks as the input becomes valid.
- `SimpleSelect` — the option rows the funding-privacy page picks a source with.

`AddressFieldView` gains what those screens needed, all additive:

- an optional `isFocused` binding, mirrored both ways, so a host can raise the
  keyboard on entry and drop it before presenting a sheet while the field still
  owns its `@FocusState`;
- `showsClearButton`, because a short field the user can clear by hand does not
  need a ✕ to hit by accident, and `isAccepted`, which drops the focus ring once
  the content has been accepted;
- the 3pt focus/error ring from Figma, drawn as an inset stroke rather than a
  shadow (with no blur and no offset a shadow lands under the field and is never
  seen);
- the QR button only when an `onScanQR` handler exists — a username has no QR
  form, and the glyph was offering a control that did nothing. A field that can
  show neither control now reserves no trailing space.

`SystemMessageView` takes a `buttonStyle`: a message that points somewhere else
reads as a link, not as a call to action, and is spaced against the sentence it
follows instead of sitting in a pill's padding.

`BottomSheet` collapses its header when there is no title, no back button and no
close button — 64pt of nothing that a self-sizing sheet was measuring into its
own height.

Also: the `RedAlpha20` token and six feature icons (friends, profile, recovery,
selected-list, username, username-block).

Add SimpleSelect to the component catalog and Buttons & inputs documentation.

docs/README.md states that the catalog covers everything DashUIKit ships. SimpleSelect is public, but it has no catalog entry or section in docs/buttons-and-inputs.md. Add both so users can discover its API.

…e for VoiceOver, link layout, SimpleSelect docs

- Criteria: a repeated `id` (two rules with the same text and no explicit
  id) gave SwiftUI two rows with one identity. Render identities are now
  unique; the first occurrence keeps its bare id, so a row with a stable
  explicit id still animates in place.
- VoiceOver: `.blocking` read the same as `.failed` ("Not met"). It now says
  the rule is required to continue, which the red text says visually.
- SystemMessageView: the link layout (negative padding, tight spacing) was
  applied whenever the style was a link, including a row that shows only the
  secondary pill. It now applies only when the primary link renders.
- Docs: `SimpleSelect` gets a catalog row and a section in Buttons & inputs;
  `Criteria` and `SimpleSelect` join the section summary.

Outside-diff finding (docs/README.md:66, SimpleSelect undocumented): fixed in 55bd6c6 — catalog row in docs/README.md, a SimpleSelect section in docs/buttons-and-inputs.md (API, states, geometry, accessibility, when to use RadioButtonRow instead), and Criteria / SimpleSelect added to the Buttons & inputs summary.

Reviewed at 55bd6c6. Approving — everything is additive, the CodeRabbit threads are addressed, and the branch builds clean.

Verified

  • xcodebuild -scheme DashUIKit -destination 'generic/platform=iOS Simulator' on Xcode 26.6 / Swift 6.3: succeeds, 0 warnings.
  • Every token / helper the new code reaches for exists (redAlpha20, gray300Alpha50/30, blueAlpha5/20, XmarkIcon(size:color:lineWidth:), DashButtonSize.small.hPadding, DashIconSource.custom(_:bundle:)).
  • RedAlpha20 colorset is byte-identical to RedAlpha10 apart from alpha; the six imagesets match the existing feature-icon JSON shape with correct 40/80/120px scales.
  • BottomSheet header collapse: dashwallet-ios has no call site passing showsCloseButton: false, so no existing app sheet changes height from this.
  • The isFocused mirror guards both directions against echo, and a nil binding never fires the reverse onChange, so existing callers are untouched.

Non-blocking, take or leave

  1. Criteria.renderIdentities — CodeRabbit's last point stands in a contrived case: an explicit id that already ends in #1 can collide with a generated suffix (["A","A","A#1"] → two A#1). A loop that bumps the suffix until unseen, or a separator no caller would type, closes it for good. Not worth blocking on.
  2. Top-level README.md component table has a Criteria row but no SimpleSelect row (docs/README.md has both).
  3. Every existing feature icon ships -dark variants and the convention flips white cut-outs to black (feature-shield, feature-timer). The six new ones have no dark variant, and feature-profile has a white silhouette on the blue tile — worth checking whether Figma exports a dark version, or whether white-on-blue is intended in dark mode.
  4. AddressFieldView with no scan handler and showsClearButton: false: the tap area drops to 0 but the inner HStack still sits 20pt (hSpacing) from the field, so the trailing inset is 30pt against a 20pt leading one. If Figma's Input is symmetric, the spacing wants to collapse with the control.

A repeat's generated `#n` key could equal another row's own id: `["A", "A",
"A#1"]` rendered as `A`, `A#1`, `A#1`. Every original id is now reserved up
front, and a repeat takes the lowest `#n` that is neither reserved nor already
handed out (`A`, `A#2`, `A#1`). Each id's first occurrence still keeps its
bare id, so a row with a stable explicit id animates in place.
