Optional dependencies
---------------------

Dask.distributed runs without these packages but uses them when they are
installed:

- `cytoolz <https://github.com/pytoolz/cytoolz>`_ ``>=0.11.2``: a Cython
implementation of ``toolz``. Dask.distributed imports ``toolz`` functions
through ``tlz``, which picks ``cytoolz`` when it is installed and falls
back to ``toolz`` otherwise.

Install it with ``conda install cytoolz -c conda-forge`` or
``python -m pip install cytoolz``.
