TLS observation used local-time conversion for UTC certificate dates and did not verify the requested hostname on its observation connection. This release corrects UTC handling, SAN-only certificates, hostname verification and socket cleanup.
Collection now bounds endpoint queues and retained split-call results to 256 entries, refuses saturated admission with HTTP 503, and skips expired queued work. Ordinary callback exceptions are isolated so later jobs can continue without retrying the callback. Running plugins retain their existing cancellation boundary.
Version metadata, CLI, quickstart pins, changelog and user release notes are updated. The existing Docker/PyPI publication workflow now creates a matching immutable GitHub release after publication succeeds.
Local Python 3.12: 77 declared/collected/executed tests, zero skips; strict user/contributor Sphinx build passed. Remote container, Prometheus rule and package checks remain required before merge/publication.
