Historically, DeviceCloud users have purchased credits in advance and these have been drawn down via usage.
Once a test has started running, it cannot be cancelled.

New users are given $20 in free credits to test the service.
A test you cancel before it starts running is refunded at 75% of its cost. The 25% is used to cover our network and egress costs from preparing your test to run.

The ability to purchase credits is being phased out in favour of [subscriptions](subscriptions.md).
Refunds appear as a separate negative line in your usage history alongside the original charge and should appear in your balance immediately.
