Date-based release versions, like dockette/tika.

  • VERSION holds the release date (YYYY.MM.DD). make version prints it, make release sets it to today and prints what to run next.
  • CI pushes the latest image also as :<VERSION> and creates the GitHub release <VERSION> on master.
  • README: Versions section.

Tested locally: actionlint, make version, make release. Image push and the release job only run on master, so PR CI can't exercise them.

Add a VERSION file, make version/release, an extra :<VERSION> tag on latest and a release job.
Key=value VERSION, one inline build job pushing all tags, simplified README with a Versions table.
