- ruff 0.12.0 -> 0.17.0 (also in the pre-commit hook); reformat README.md and scripts.py, which ruff 0.17 now formats differently - pyright 1.1.410 -> 1.1.414 - pre-commit 4.5.0 -> 4.6.2 - examples: fastapi[standard] 0.116.0 -> 0.143.1, uvicorn 0.49.0 -> 0.54.0, python-dotenv 1.2.2 -> 1.2.4
Widen the websockets range to >=15.0,<17 and lock 16.1.1. The lower bound stays at 15.0: the SDK works unchanged on both majors.
Widen the urllib3 range to >=1.25.3,<3 and lock 2.8.0, so the SDK no longer blocks applications that need urllib3 2. The SDK's own code does not import urllib3, so the lower bound is unchanged.
pytest-asyncio stays on 0.21.2, which still runs the async tests under pytest 9.
