broken build using failBuild on openfasttrace-maven-plugin 2.3.0 #80

Closed

Description

@ambition-consulting

Description

failBuild false does not work

Image

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Configure the plugin with false
  2. Run plugin directly or indirectly via maven phase

Expected behavior

The build continues despite failures. Instead

  • for JDK 17 it will stop when finding failures
  • for JDK 25 it will stay in the jvm process but not continue, which can only be exited using kill signal (crtl+c)

Environment

  • Maven version: maven 3.9.11
  • openfasttrace-maven-plugin version: 2.3.0
  • OS: OSX
  • Java Version: Temurin 25.0.1 and Temurin 17.0.3

No difference using maven 3.8.9 with jdk 17 - also stops the build on failures..

@ambition-consulting: the problem you observed seems to have been caused by namespace collisions with the properties. All properties are prefixed now with openfasttrace. to prevent further collisions. POM file configuration does not need to be change. Only if you use the CLI, don't forget to use the prefix.

Will be fixed with the release of #94.
