  • Virtual environment first: README and INSTALLATION.md now tell users to create and activate a fresh venv (or a new conda env, not base) before pip install. Mixing the package with an existing system/base Python (other Qt/PyQt, numpy or Geant4 builds) is the most common cause of library mismatch errors, and recent Ubuntu refuses system-wide pip installs (externally-managed-environment).
  • PyPI credits: PyPI shows only the first entry of Author-email, so the 0.1.1 page credits only Luis. Authors and maintainers are now listed by name, which renders as Author: Luis Antonio Obis Aparicio, Kavya Wadhwa (checked with pyproject-metadata).

Shows on PyPI from the next release (0.1.2).

Installing into the system Python or conda's base environment mixes the
package with other Qt/PyQt, numpy or Geant4 builds, the most common cause
of library mismatch errors (and Ubuntu refuses system pip installs). The
README and INSTALLATION.md now start with creating a venv or conda env.

PyPI shows only the first person of an Author-email list, so 0.1.1 lists
just Luis. List authors and maintainers by name so both are shown.
