§9.7 Consuming modules from a standalone app. An app that is not a module runs a Logos runtime of its own as its shell, and calls modules it runs and modules it imports from a daemon through the same generated clients, without Qt:

§9.8 Android.

§9.6 gains --allow on peer invite and peer accept (logos-co/logos-peering#1, logos-co/logos-logoscore-cli#150). The logosctl rename of its commands landed in #99.

Every snippet follows code that ran:

  • a C++ client and a Rust Slint app on macOS and Linux;
  • the same Rust app on an arm64 API 34 emulator, reading a devnet node exported by a daemon on another machine.

§9.7 adds running the runtime inside the app (embedded, local_endpoints: false). A new §9.10 covers iOS: an embedded runtime, a liblogos with no process creation, the none container, Xcode's clang through logos-nix, modules from their generate output, and the .app layout. The contents list now has 9.9 and 9.10.

§9.6 and the CLI summary used `logoscore peer` and `logoscore --remote`,
but only the logosctl binary has these commands. The names now match the
downstream fix in #100, line for line.

§9.7 shows an app running a runtime of its own as its shell, calling local
and imported modules through generated clients, in C++ (LogosCore,
logos_generate_clients) and Rust (the host feature, mkClients).

§9.6 gains --allow on peer invite and peer accept.

§9.8: what an APK ships and how (lib*.so executables and plugins, renamed
sonames), how the app lays out its modules, mkNativeActivityApk and its
gates, and reaching a daemon from a phone or an emulator.

rust-sdk's Config::placement_policy; with single_process, peering's modules
and each import's facade run in the runtime's process too.

rust-sdk's hostBuildSupportWindows, what to ship beside the app, and that
single_process has no in-process facades there yet.

A runtime can run inside the app itself, with no child process and no
local socket (9.7); iOS requires it (9.10). The contents list 9.9 and
9.10.
