Conservar selecciones y adaptar referencias anteriores cuando cambia la identidad.
Prioridad actual: únicamente el mínimo funcional indicado. La necesidad parcial NO aprueba ejecutar todo el paquete anterior ni exige una fase separada. Revisar lo ya entregado antes de generar trabajo adicional.
Objetivo vigente: «los ids de agentes cambien a unos ids que se desprendan de el string univoco que requieren ejecutar». Una ventana/editor. El usuario ordenó atacar únicamente lo estrictamente necesario y revisar el resto después. La auditoría de 22 hijos preserva diferencias entre necesidad conceptual y paquete histórico; no es consenso de implementación. Faltan definir el string/equivalencias y la compatibilidad de IDs anteriores antes de certificar el mínimo exacto. Hash determinista no prueba idempotencia. Las especificaciones y dependencias históricas no habilitan ampliar ni bloquear automáticamente el núcleo reducido. Esta resolución no elimina ni revierte comportamiento entregado; los estados abiertos/cerrados se conservan.

Part of Epic #2432 (under #2429). P03 implements one recoverable source-and-reference coordinator while preserving ordinary behavior, defaults, locks and history. Source protocol remains inactive until P11; current API lifecycle #2885 and GUI #2436 remain excluded.

Only inline tests within the three Rust files; census and its pins remain read-only. Prepare through the existing agent_config guarded adapter; execute/verify/release through internal settings guarded IO forwarders. Exactly one allowed new module pair: mutations→profiles, within the existing SCC.
Acceptance and verification
Implement the complete canonical phase, including durable intent/packet/fence ordering, explicit original-ID recovery/CAS, zero-write inactive mutators and read-only status. No second coordinator, allocator, journal authority or general activation.
Execute its count-positive transition/legacy-origin/P22 fixtures, locked Rust1.98.1 all-target checks, applicable formatter/Clippy, read-only census comparison, structural guards and fresh PRE/POST comparison. The comparator rejects unknown/cross-boundary/unplanned module pairs and removals and verifies full SCC sets. Every required/triggered CI check must succeed on the exact final PR head before landing. Follow the canonical phase for exact commands, bounded runner, drift and failure/recovery rules; no runtime result is claimed here.
Authorization and execution identity
Five fresh v49 approvals: architect author, Rust, UI, Rust Grinch and Architect Grinch. Standing user session instruction approves consensus within scope without another permission request. Lead binding/freeze receipt: .ac/project-shared/room19-p03-v49-consensus-authorization-20261011.md. Prior v17/v23/v48 votes and readiness do not authorize this execution.
Issue #2897; branch feat/2897-selection-reference-persistence; reviewed synchronized base main30766b29b3ec8fc46dc1cf0c2248c3432159b6ac. PR closes only #2897, never the parent epic. Implementation, evidence and delivery remain distinct.

I2896 is closed; PR2958 is merged and its merge commit is the actual base. I2897 is open with native parent2432. Full workflow/score48 and the four exact-v28 agreements are preserved; unchanged P03 authorization remains recorded in human-approval-v23-20261008.json. Room-wide cold purge succeeded before Rust implementation dispatch. The issue's original v17 specification above is historical; this exact phase and v28 mapping govern execution.
Four paths only; source protocol remains inactive until P11. No API lifecycle repair, conversion/I2436, packaged build, version change, or interactive GUI test is included. Verification/review/CI evidence remains pending on the candidate head.
