Are you explicitly loading
xcolorin your document? If yes, could you try to load thegitstatuspackage after you loadxcolor? If not, it would be really helpful, if you could provide a list of your imports /\usepackage{...}calls.Best regards

I was interested in using this package. Unfortunately when I added it using
\usepackage[watermark]{gitstatus}it gave me an error:Removing the gitstatus line again stopped the error from occurring.
