Discuss an optional live project and global memory panel for Codex #155
Codex users can use Mnemon through CLI, skills and hooks, but a panel beside chat would make it easier to inspect memories and see later writes without refreshing.
I have an optional local MCP App prototype using public Mnemon CLI commands behind a normalized adapter. It provides project-directory associations, a separate global-experience store, read-only aggregate browsing, explicit supplemental writes, and a development skill for recall before work and verified memory writes afterward. It does not modify Mnemon's Go core or existing hooks.
For Mnemon 0.2.10, live reads use SQLite online backup before immutable --readonly CLI access so committed WAL data is included. Change detection and MCP long polling update the UI. Runtime files are retained during local upgrades so existing sessions can continue loading their resources.
Would maintainers prefer this package under plugins/codex-memory-panel, or in a separate integration repository? An official live read-only JSON interface could simplify the adapter in a later version.
The prototype's native right-panel rendering has been verified. Codex controls navigation: its global rail entry opens fullscreen and its thread entry remains under More tools. This contribution does not promise to change those host-controlled positions. A draft implementation PR will be linked for discussion; it is not a request to merge before the integration approach is agreed.
