Imports the four open issues that had no quest label. Issues are mentioned without closing keywords; the quest that completes each one closes it.

Issue Decision Quest
#5563 Windows relay stack overflow new m0 quest quest/m0/relay-windows-stack.md
#5521 lite-06 SETUP violations already fixed on main (#4704, #5550); backport to release quest/m1/lite-setup-backport.md
#5564 --full drift exit new m1 quest, ranked beside Live TS clock validation quest/m1/ts-drift-startup.md
#5565 video-content Old eviction duplicate of hypothesis 1; evidence folded in quest/m1/test-flakes-2/ts-video-content.md

Verified against main (5beead6) before planning:

Public API: none. Wire: none.

Decisions

#5521 disposition

  • Close, fixed on main
  • XS quest: add the test
  • ✅ Backport to release

#5565 tracking

  • ✅ Fold into ts-video-content
  • Split hypothesis 1 out

#5564 placement

  • ✅ New m1 quest
  • Child of test-flakes-2
  • Fold into ts-live-clock

#5563 placement

  • New m1 quest
  • ✅ m0 (urgent)
  • m2

#5521 backport scope

#5564 fix direction

  • ✅ Constraints, mechanism after repro
  • Prescribe significance test
  • Prescribe re-baselining

#5563 fix layer

  • ✅ Box library futures
  • Bigger thread in main
  • Linker /STACK flag

#5563 Windows CI

  • Debug relay smoke
  • ✅ Add moq-relay tests
  • Both

Note on the last answer: the relay's existing tests run on 32 MiB threads and would not catch this bug alone. So the quest's regression drives load and run on a 1 MiB thread, and -p moq-relay on Windows runs it there too.

Walkthrough

The pull request adds milestone entries and planning or evidence documents for four issues. They cover a Windows debug relay stack overflow, Lite SETUP session closure on the release branch, TS export startup drift, and TS video-content loss after first-group eviction. The changes document proposed work, constraints, tests, and reported CI failures; they do not implement the described fixes.

Automated review by review (OpenAI)

Reviewed commit: e65f06b.

The plans keep useful boundaries: measure and box the actual library futures rather than enlarge only the binary's stack; backport the two Lite closes without importing unrelated transport/API changes; reproduce startup drift before choosing a mechanism or relaxing thresholds. Folding the video-content evidence into its existing investigation avoids duplicating the work.

One P2 prerequisite is inline: enabling the whole relay test suite on Windows also requires correcting its Unix-only CLI expectations, otherwise the proposed gate fails independently of the stack fix.

Verification: static review of plans, referenced issue reports, current/release Setup handling, CLI test platform guards and drift measurement. No tests, Windows runs, or reproductions executed; the stack cause and timing hypotheses remain to be measured as planned.

and `run()` in a debug build, and box what is actually large.
- Regression test: drive the relay's load and run with a minimal config on a
thread with a 1 MiB stack in a debug build. It must overflow without the fix
on any OS, so Linux CI catches it too.

[P2] Include platform-gating the relay CLI expectations in this Windows CI step

Adding -p moq-relay to windows-test runs tests/released_cli.rs, whose RELEASED table unconditionally requires server-unix-bind and server-unix-allow-{uid,gid,pid} plus their environment variables (lines 92–95). Those fields exist only under cfg(all(feature = "uds", unix)) in moq-tokio/src/listen.rs:110–115, so both released_flags_still_parse and released_env_vars_are_still_read will fail on Windows even after the stack fix. Add platform-appropriate expectations to this quest's scope, preserving the Unix assertions, so the new Windows gate can actually go green.

Agreed. The quest now scopes gating the Unix-only expectations in released_cli.rs (the server-unix-* flags and env vars) behind cfg(unix) before adding -p moq-relay to windows-test, keeping the Unix assertions (00c0d2f).

Main already folded #5565 into ts-video-content with the confirmed
mechanism; keep main's analysis and Closes line, and keep only this
PR's extra evidence (run IDs, picture ranges, local repro count). Also
scope gating released_cli.rs's Unix-only expectations into the Windows
relay quest so the new Windows gate can pass.

Merge summary:

Note: #5565 was closed manually on 2026-10-15, while the quest still lists it under Closes; harmless.
