docs: finish the m1 documentation audit - #6170
Conversation
Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The demo serves on Vite's default 5173, moq-tokio runs on moq-quic rather than Quinn, and HLS moved out of moq-mux into moq-hls. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

hang has a FLAC codec; the FLV import is what drops it. TS import handles Opus. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
#5929 made each subscription read only its own ranges; moq.h still described the aggregate read. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
moq-shaper was already fully documented; the lint keeps it so. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>
The reads resolve to undefined, not null, matching their TypeScript return types. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

WalkthroughThe documentation updates cover demo URLs, transport selection, media support, and codec notes. The documentation audit plan moves from m1 to m2 with updated requirements and baselines. Rust changes enable missing-documentation warnings and clarify subscription range behavior and WASM end-of-stream return values. Priority: ⬇️ Low Merge Risk: 🔵 Low · up to

Point the quickstart at a real demo page
When automatic tab opening is unavailable or the reader follows this instruction literally, this URL does not show the demo: Vite's root is demo/web/src, which has no index.html; its entry points are watch.html, publish.html, stats.html, and meet.html, and open-tabs.ts explicitly opens the first three. Link to an actual page such as /watch.html instead of the bare origin.

Agreed: Vite's root has no index.html. Fixed in cd40579, which points the README, doc/setup, and doc/bin/demo.md at /watch.html.

Vite's root has no index.html, so the bare origin shows nothing. Co-Authored-By: Claude Opus 5.5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

🎯 Functional Correctness | 🟡 Minor | ⚡ Quick win
Make the Goal require corrected documentation.
The or planned clause allows this quest to finish while stale documentation remains. This conflicts with line 17, which requires fixes to land in this run except for the explicit follow-up cases. State the corrected documentation as the Goal outcome. Keep baselines and follow-up status in Plan.
Based on learnings, the Goal should state the outcome the quest establishes, not its current status.
