- Reword the backwards-compatibility rule in
AGENTS.md— The old "prefer simplification for unpublished interfaces" bullet is replaced with a clearer rule: nothing is in production yet, so agents change formats, schemas, flags, and on-disk state directly, with no migrations, shims, or cleanup of what earlier versions wrote. The new wording directly encodes the lessons from the two linked sessions (#466, #481) and reads unambiguously.
No code is touched. prettier --check AGENTS.md passes and the surrounding bullets and wrapping are untouched.
