No change to the published behavior, except a type fix: LineReader.readLine() returns `string | undefined`. - Tooling: mise, pnpm, TypeScript, Vitest, Biome, GitHub Actions. - Tests checked against real JVMs. - New README and CONTRIBUTING.md.
- parse(), parseFile() and stringify() accept a javaVersion option, to work exactly like Properties.load() and store() of that Java version. - New readEntries(), escapeKey() and escapeValue(). java-props/dist/utils is deprecated. - Without options, nothing changes, but parse() and stringify() are about 2x faster.
