After an npm upgrade, a computer could keep an older managed daemon and stale startup configuration, leaving saved phones unable to discover its new tunnel address. This change aligns managed upgrades with the CLI release, repairs startup registration, and enrolls eligible connections in encrypted address recovery while preserving computer identity and phone approvals.
Running
mindwirenow opens an interactive menu for reconnecting, pairing and repairing phones, managing automatic startup and connection providers, updating or stopping the service, and inspecting its status. Update requests share the existing operation, honor explicit restart requests, and require the requested daemon release. Explicit version pins and disabled address recovery remain respected.Validation completed locally:
go test -race ./internal/computer.All five repository CI jobs passed: SDK, Go daemon, real Docker E2E, website, and console. The console job passed on retry after an intermittent existing unsupported-content-type assertion returned 400 instead of 415; three subsequent full local PostgreSQL directory-suite runs also passed (60 tests).
