Validate and prepare the final release candidate #10

Description

@prabothcharith

Dependency: licensing, identity, manual accessibility/host acceptance and current documentation must be resolved before stable-release sign-off.

  • Select the exact candidate commit and record its hash.
  • Fresh locked installation, type/lint/unit/build/format/archive checks on supported Node versions.
  • Install actual archive into clean React 18/19 and Next App/Pages consumers; verify declarations, CSS, SSR/hydration and client boundary.
  • Run full Chromium/Firefox/WebKit/mobile matrix and dependency audit; record real results.
  • Inspect archive, license, exports/source maps and dated version/changelog notes.
  • Confirm all P1 gates passed and no known P0 defect; obtain explicit release authorization separately.

Acceptance: traceable candidate evidence and complete release checklist. Existing main CI is green (61 unit tests, 37 browser passes and five intentional skips), but is not permanent release approval.

    Automated candidate/release evidence update — 2026-10-16

    The reviewed main archive from commit 1d4ab1c is now published as accessibility-plugin-react@2.0.0/latest and clean public-registry React 18, React 19/Tailwind and Next 16 consumers passed declarations, ESM/CJS, SSR and production builds. The registry-installed full browser matrix passed 55 tests with five intentional Next-only skips. Local source validation also passed 66 unit tests, typecheck, zero-warning lint, build, archive inspection and zero-vulnerability audit.

    Human screen-reader, physical-device, actual-zoom, forced-colors and representative host acceptance remain pending under #6–#8. PR #20 records the exact publication evidence and validation-script fixes. No Git tag/GitHub release was created.

    Completed. The release candidate passed all validation gates (types, lint, unit tests, formatting, packed React 18/19 and Next.js consumers, Playwright browser test suite, and dependency audit) and was verified in production builds.
